Each and every jewel starts as a sketch penned by Nicolaides in her Brisbane studio. While each collection tells its own distinctive tale, every drafted sketch converges the echoes of her Greek heritage and love of all things artisanal into a singular image of modern heirlooms. Once Nicolaides completes a jewelled story, the pieces are brought to life by uniquely skilled hands across Europe and Asia, in intimately limited releases. Each piece is created with ancient artisanal techniques, celebrating the tradition of slow and intentional craftsmanship.

The ethos of Christie Nicolaides is that each jewel is as one-of-a-kind as it’s wearer, as no two stones are ever the same. Over the years, Nicolaides has sourced unique stones, with luminous fresh-water baroque pearls becoming the centrepiece of her collections. The careful hand selection of stones is the determining element of production, imbuing the value of intimate craftsmanship in each small run of designs.
