MEET THE BRIDE
Greta G. Miksa
Set against the breathtaking coastline of Sicily, where cliffs meet the sea and time feels beautifully suspended, Greta married Marius, her partner, in a celebration that was as romantic as it was timeless. Intimate, emotional, and deeply intentional, their wedding reflected not only their aesthetic, but the quiet strength of a love that has grown over nearly a decade.
Romantic, timeless and elegant, were the three words Greta chose to describe her wedding style, and ones that echoed effortlessly through every detail of the day.
“We met on my birthday, at a small gathering with friends,” Greta shares. “Although Marius had already noticed me before, I saw him for the first time that night. One of the first things he said to me was, ‘We won’t be friends.’ I remember thinking, ‘Wow, that’s bold.’ But one date led to another, and I quickly fell for him.”
What followed was a love story defined by sincerity and grand, romantic gestures. “He was so persistent, sincere, and expressed his love in the most romantic ways, once hanging a giant banner on a bridge that read, ‘I love you more than anything in this world.’ That kind of raw, fearless love made me believe this was something real and different.”
Since that moment, the two have spent nine years growing side by side. “Marius still looks at me the same way he did back then, and I still melt when I catch it.”
The Proposal
Marius proposed exactly four years after asking Greta to be his girlfriend, on March 5th, 2020, a date already rich with meaning.
“To keep it a surprise, he only sent me coordinates and told me to meet him there,” she recalls. The destination revealed itself as the Grand Hotel in Oslo, one of the city’s most historic and romantic locations. “We had the most beautiful suite, with a timeless, elegant atmosphere that felt straight out of another era. It was intimate, quiet, and filled with emotion.”
After an evening spent at Romeo and Juliet and a beautiful dinner, the day ended in the most unforgettable way. “When we returned to the room, Marius played one of our favourite songs, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. It was one of those perfect days where everything aligned.”

A Destination Like No Other
“The moment we discovered Tonnara di Scopello, we knew, this was it,” Greta says. “The most romantic, breathtaking place we had ever seen.”
Surrounded by sea, cliffs, and history, the Sicilian venue offered more than just beauty, it created a sense of togetherness. “It was very important to us that all of our guests could stay together in one place, creating intimacy. Tonnara was perfect for that. It gave us the chance to swim and simply enjoy time as a group both before and after the wedding.”

A Dress with intention
Greta always envisioned a look that felt “timeless, romantic, and crafted with intention.” When she discovered Luna Bea Bride, she knew she had found the one.
“My gown was handcrafted from flowing ivory silk with long sleeves and an open back, minimalist yet quietly dramatic. It felt deeply meaningful, almost poetic in its simplicity.”
To complete the look, Greta chose a three-and-a-half metre mantilla-style veil edged in lace, paired with delicate Luella Earrings in white, perfectly suited to the old-world romance Sicilian setting.
Putting on her full look was an experience Greta will never forget.
“It was an incredibly emotional moment, everything I had imagined for so long suddenly came together. As soon as I put on the gown, veil, and jewelry, I felt completely myself, exactly as I had envisioned: romantic and full of love.”
“There was a sense of timelessness, as if I had stepped into a moment that would stay with me forever."
The Finishing Touch
For Greta, her jewellery choice was something she had known long before the wedding day.
“I had actually discovered the Luella earrings by Christie Nicolaides long before our wedding, and they immediately stayed in my mind,” she says. “Their sculptural, timeless beauty and luminous moonstones felt like the perfect reflection of what I wanted to express on the day, elegance, femininity, and a touch of boldness.”
“I knew from the very beginning that they would be my wedding earrings, without a doubt. They elevated the entire look and felt truly special to wear.”
