Walk us through a typical day in your life
"Every week looks different for me so routine is really hard! There’s a certain element of surrender in what I do. With modelling, everything happens very last minute so Mitch and I just do our best to juggle everything between us and keep things stable for Mars.
I usually travel for modelling jobs whenever they come up, then I shoot most of my social partnerships or branded content at home. When I am not doing either of those, my time is divided between running my swimwear brand and having Mars at home with me. It is a bit crazy at the moment but it also feels quite nice to be busy again after having a few quieter years through the pandemic."
what does self care look like to you?
"Self-care for me is about taking time out and being kind to yourself. I don’t have a lot of time for self care these days but when I do I go for a beach walk, listen to a podcast, go for a surf or an afternoon infrared sauna."

Where do you draw your daily inspiration from?
"My inspiration comes from travel. I love seeing different cultures, the people, their unique heritage, street fashion and art. Even when I can’t travel I love following brands and photographers from other countries to see their collections and imagery."
How do you stay inspired and innovative in your work?
"I have only recently learnt that I need time, space and stillness to actually be creative! For me it’s something that goes in waves, when I travel and work less
then I am relaxed, inspired and in turn more creative when I get back. When I am more creative, I’m also then more motivated to work so it’s very cyclic.
When I first became a mum, I found it really hard to find any kind of creativity - being sleep deprived and having way less time than I used to was quite jarring. But I feel like I learnt a lot about myself in that time as well and I am now able to come back to where I left off."

How would you describe your personal fashion style?
"My personal style is pretty classic and minimal. I think because I travelled so much in my 20’s, I liked to keep my suitcase tight and everything could be mix and matched with each other. Even though I don’t travel as much anymore, I have continued that same approach and I have a very neutral wardrobe palette. I like staple pieces that will last forever."
What are the must-have items you have with you everywhere you go?
"Ultra Violette SPF Lip Balm, Emma Lewisham Anti Blemish Serum, Phone, Charcoal filtered Waterbottle, Vehla Eyewear Sunglasses, Airpods, Le Labo Bergamote 22 Mini, Ikkari Good Greens Superblend, Gem Teethwhitening pen."

Tell us your Favourite Swim design…
"Right now, I am all about versatility and textured fabrics. The Fior set in the current collection is the perfect holiday set because you can wear as a swimsuit but also dress it up with a sarong or linen pants and wear it out at night."
What are your goals for the future?
"Code B is actually about to be rebranded, redefined and relaunched later this year! I just felt like it wasn’t a true representation of the brand I wanted to be and I have evolved so much since I started it in 2019. I can’t say much yet but I am so excited about what’s coming….. watch this space!"
