ORDERING INFORMATION

Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email please email us at enquiries@christienicolaides.com or contact us directly via the 'contact' section on the online store. 

DELIVERY:

All parcels within Australia are sent within 3 business days from date of purchase via Australia Post's express postal service. Your parcel can be tracked on the Australia Post website with the tracking number provided in your confirmation email.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within 3 business days of placing your order please email us at enquiries@christienicolaides.com 

It is your responsibility to arrange for re-delivery or pick up from your post office if the parcel can not be left at the address provided. 

 

PAYMENT METHOD: 

Christie Nicolaides accepts VISA and MasterCard through Secure Pay Australia. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on credit card security measures. Christie Nicolaides will appear on your credit card statement. All purchase transactions and shipping costs will be calculated and processed in Australian Dollars. 

 

AFTERPAY 

Christie Nicolaides also accepts AfterPay. If you do choose to pay through Afterpay you will be redirected at check out to the Afterpay website to process the payment.  

 

POSTAGE & HANDLING:

We offer FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY on all orders over $550 AUD. 

Postage and handling is a flat rate fee of $15 within Australia. Free domestic and worldwide shipping for all orders over $550 AUD.

Your order will be shipped within 3 business days of receipt.

Please allow an additional 1-3 days for orders to Western Australia or outside of metropolitan areas. Delivery times are an estimate only and Christie Nicolaides will not be liable for any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. 

The item will be carefully packaged to ensure that it arrives in pristine condition. If your jewellery arrives damaged, you must notify our team within 48 hours. Email enquiries@christienicolaides.com and you will receive a prompt response. 

If you bought your goods from a stockist, retailer or from somewhere other than from the website, you will need to seek a exchange of refund from that person directly.

Parcels could take up to 5 business days to arrive once they have been dispatched. Upon dispatch a tracking number will be emailed to you. The parcels can be tracked through the DHL website. http://www.dhl.com.au/en/express/tracking.html

TAXES & DUTIES:

All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages. Christie Nicolaides is not responsible for any delays. 

 

CURRENCY CONVERSION:

All prices listed on our site are charged to your credit card in Australian dollars (AUD) . The bank that has issued your credit card determines the exchange rate that you will be charged, but  it should match closely with the current rate.

 

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS:

If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 working days of placing your order so that we may assist you.

This service enables you to shop online and collect your purchase from our Brisbane City store avoiding delivery charges. Please select the Pick-up In store option when fulfilling your order at check out.

We aim to have online orders available for collection in store within 1 business day. If you would like to arrange same day pick-up please notify our team by writing in the notes section of your order at check out or calling the store on 07 32219263.

Orders can only be collected within our trading hours. Please see below.

10am - 6pm: Friday 

10am - 4pm: Saturday

STOCK:

In the very unlikely case that a product you have purchased is unavailable we will contact you immediately. If the transaction has been processed we will reverse the payment.  We will then inform you when the product will be available.  For any enquires regarding this please email enquiries@christienicolaides.com  and you will receive a prompt response. 

 

PRODUCT REQUESTS:

When purchasing earrings please make sure to request post fastening or clip-on fastenings.    

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY:

Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds unless there is manufacturing fault present. 

Please choose carefully as we do not offer an exchange or refund on pierced earrings for hygiene reasons or for any items where you have changed your mind, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it. 

For all other items you may exchange within 7 days from date of purchase and within 15 days for international orders. Customers will be responsible for all Express shipping & re-shipping charges for exchanges. Items not received within this timeframe will not be accepted. Christie Nicolaides must receive the product in the original packaging via Express Post with tags attached and in the exact condition it was sent out in. It must not have been worn.

REFUNDS

All faulty items will be fully inspected before a refund can be issued. The product must be sent within 3 business days of making a claim for faulty goods. 

If you are issued a refund it we will credited back onto credit the card that you placed the order with via Secure Pay. 

 

FAULTY ITEMS:

All items are quality checked before they are ready for dispatch however on the very occasionally there may be a fault we didn't find.

Claims for faulty goods must be made within 3 months of purchase.

Please note that the general wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. The jewellery containing, glass, resin or semi precious stones are delicate and fragile and should be handled carefully. Crystal or glass stones breaking from mishandling is not considered a manufacturing fault. Manufacturing faults do not include cracked or broken stones or if an item has been bent out of shape from wear or if the plating starts to fade. 

The jewellery is handmade and can be very fragile. If it is dropped on a hard surface it could break or stones could loosen. If pressure is placed on the earring posts or if they are bent out of shape they can weaken. This can result in breakage. Please ensure to keep your earrings in the original packaging to prevent this from occuring. Christie Nicolaides is not required to fix items have been broken or replace stones. 

Due to the nature of gold and silver plating, and the frequency of wear, it can over time rub off and or discolour. This is a natural part of the wear and tear, and is not considered and manufacturing fault

VARIANCES IN SEMI PRECIOUS STONES: 

Natural stones vary in colour and size. Your piece will bear individual characteristics and although equally as beautiful and unique, it may vary slightly from the photograph shown on the website. 

Please look at all photos provided of the product to see the variances. If you have a special request for a particular colour tone please email the team before placing an order. 

We are regrettably not able to exchange for a different piece based on the characteristics of the stones. 

 

VARIANCES IN FRESH WATER PEARLS: 

Fresh water pearls have variances in colour, shape and texture. These variances are what make the pearls unique. The piece of jewellery you receive will vary slightly from the photos provided online.

We are regrettably not able to exchange for a different piece based on the characteristics of the natural pearls. 

 

WEIGHTS: 

Please make sure to read the description of each design. The weights are approximates only. The weight may vary within a couple of grams due to the use of natural stones. If you have any questions regarding the size or weight of a product please enquire before making a purchase. We can not offer offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. 

 

MATERIALS:

Christie Nicolaides is made of 24 carat gold or silver plated brass. The posts are made of 24 carat plated silver and solid sterling silver.  

 

GIFT CARDS PURCHASED ONLINE:

Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.

Our Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date or receipt. 

We do not refund Gift Cards. Gift cards can not be redeemed with cash.

GIFT CARDS PURCHASED IN STORE: 

Gift Certificates may be redeemed in Christie Nicolaides stores and the Christie Nicolaides online store only.

Gift certificates used in the Online Store must be used in full. 

We do not refund Gift Cards. Gift cards can not be redeemed with cash. 

If the gift certificate is not redeemed in full in store, the balance of the gift certificate will be issued in the form of a credit note.

This credit note will be given to the customer in store and can be used in Christie Nicolaides store, including online, and is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase of the original gift certificate.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Christie Nicolaides jewellery is hand crafted by artisans throughout Europe, which means each and every piece is unique. Due to the fragile nature of the jewellery the upmost care must be taken. The metal components are gold and silver plated brass. Some stones that are not soldered in are glued resulting in them being more fragile. We recommend all jewellery be cleaned only with a polishing cloth. No detergents or cleaning solutions should be used. 

Dropping causing damage will not be considered a fault and will not result in a refund. Damage from careless wear is not the responsibility of the label

Always keep your item stored in a safe place and away from perfume, moisturizer, fake tan and hairspray. Do not wet the metal. Take jewellery off when washing hands, having a shower or swimming.

Due to the nature of gold and silver plating, and the frequency of wear, it can over time rub off and or discolour. This is a natural part of the wear and tear, and is not considered and manufacturing fault

Keep in mind, everyone is different, and sometimes your skin may react differently to certain materials. In some cases, wearing silver instead of plated brass materials may be better for your skin type.

Please note that any order that is purchased as part of the free delivery promotion when subscribing to our mailing list will be sent via Australia Post's registered mail service within 4 business days. Standard registered post can take between 3-5 business days.
